However, it can struggle with harder produce, which should be cut into small pieces for better processing. This means that the slow juicer can also be used to press carrots, beetroot, celeriac, etc.

Simple operation

Its operation is simple and user-friendly. First, place the desired fruit or vegetables in the opening and close the lid securely. The juicer will not work if the lid is not closed correctly. Slide the power button upwards to start juicing. Use the plastic plunger to guide the ingredients into the pressing system. The juice is collected in a 0.8 litre container, while the pulp is separated into its own compartment. The 1.0 litre pulp container has a large capacity for collecting pulp. The opening can become blocked if the pulp does not fall easily into the container. Slide the switch downwards to activate the reverse function, freeing up any obstruction. Slide the switch upwards again to continue juicing.

Cleaning the slow juicer

It is essential to clean the slow juicer correctly after use. First, switch off and unplug the appliance. Remove and empty the juice and pulp containers. Detach the food inlet, pressing chamber, spiral and filter. Wash all parts with warm water and a mild detergent. Remove the rubber plug from the juice container for easy cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance. Dry all parts thoroughly and reassemble the juicer.
