Quick and easy cleaning

The stainless steel casing is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The aluminum plates are not removable but can be cleaned quickly and easily with a brush, sponge, or cloth and some hot water. The best way to clean the plates is to turn off the appliance, unplug the power cord, and wait until the appliance is no longer hot but warm to the touch.
